The newly appointed head coach of the Super Eagles, Finidi George, has completed the squad selection for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers against South Africa and Lesotho. According to sources, the provisional squad includes some "interesting names."
However, the official confirmation of the invited players will come from the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) in an official statement. Finidi previously served as interim coach during the last international break, where Nigeria secured a 2-1 victory over Ghana but suffered a 2-0 defeat to Mali in friendly matches.
