Ex-Manchester United forward Wayne Rooney has praised two players following their 2-1 triumph against Manchester City in the FA Cup final on Saturday.
Alejandro Garnacho and Kobbie Mainoo were pivotal for the Red Devils, establishing a two-goal advantage by the interval.
Post-match, speaking on BBC One, Rooney commended the duo.
"Kobbie Mainoo's ability to control the midfield and his performance against this Manchester City squad throughout much of the season has been impressive.
"These two [Mainoo and Garnacho] have been the standout performers for Manchester United this season.
"It's fantastic that they were the ones to secure the win, and I'm delighted for them," Rooney expressed.
