In a conversation with ITV Sport, Keane highlighted Fernandes' exceptional leadership.
"The team delivered a quintessential Manchester United display. They were tenacious, defensively solid, and showcased quality football, netting two goals. Their recent performances have clearly boosted their confidence," Keane remarked.
"Although I've previously been a critic of Bruno [Fernandes], I must admit I was mistaken. His leadership was remarkable. His talent as a player has always been evident to me."
