Ex-Liverpool midfielder, Danny Murphy, has recommended that the Reds pursue Crystal Palace's Michael Olise and Eberechi Eze should Mohamed Salah part ways with the club this summer.
Salah has attracted attention from clubs in the Saudi Pro League lately.
Nonetheless, Murphy is of the opinion that Olise and Eze have the potential to step into Salah's shoes at Anfield if needed.
Speaking on talkSPORT (as reported by Metro), Murphy discussed the possible adjustments with the new manager Arne Slot, saying: "It hinges on whether Salah remains or departs.
"If Salah were to leave, they'd need to recruit someone else, someone who can deliver 25 goals. I wouldn't let Salah go unless he explicitly says, 'I want to leave.'"
Murphy added, "If I received £100 million for Salah, I'd hand it over to Palace for Olise and Eze, effectively getting two talents for the price of one."
