Elon Musk's AI enterprise, xAI, has successfully secured $6bn in a Series B investment round with support from investors like Valor Equity Partners, Andreessen Horowitz, and Sequoia Capital, among others.
xAI disclosed on its website this Sunday that the newly acquired funds will be allocated to launching xAI’s inaugural products, constructing sophisticated infrastructure, and expediting the research and development of emergent technologies.
"Expect xAI to maintain its rapid ascent, with a series of thrilling technology updates and product launches on the horizon," the company stated.

Data from Stanford’s Institute for Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence indicates that investments in AI startups soared to $25.2bn in 2023, a near ninefold increase from 2022 and roughly thirtyfold from 2019.
