On her social media handle, she wrote with irony: "Amidst severe hardship & absence of governance at every tier, but fear not, returning to a colonial anthem will act as a comforting salve and instill patriotism in our bloodstream, the drug we desperately need."
In a separate message, Henshaw remarked, "The labour of our heroes past… has vanished."
It is noted by DAILY POST that President Bola Tinubu enacted the National Anthem Bill 2024 on Wednesday, restoring the old anthem, "Nigeria, We Hail Thee."
