Deputy Speaker Kalu Defends President Tinubu Amid Economic Challenges |
Benjamin Kalu emphasized that the hardships faced by Nigerians are not solely the fault of Tinubu but rather a cumulative result of previous governance.
Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu has asserted that President Bola Tinubu should not be blamed for Nigeria's current economic crisis. Speaking on Sunday during his 53rd birthday celebration at his home in Abia State, Kalu responded to reporters' questions.
He explained that Tinubu is actively working to rectify mistakes made by past administrations, which contributed to the present economic difficulties. Kalu emphasized that the hardships faced by Nigerians are not solely the fault of Tinubu but rather a cumulative result of previous governance.
"We cannot continue to deceive ourselves; Tinubu aims to restore stability and create sustainable livelihoods," Kalu stated. He urged fellow Nigerians to maintain faith in the current leadership during these challenging times.
Benjamin Kalu also criticized hoarding wealth while others suffer, emphasizing the importance of extending a helping hand to those in need. Regardless of political affiliations, he advocated for spreading love, peace, and unity as essential values for all.
