| BREAKING: Kano Governor Confirms Sanusi's Reinstatement as Emir |
Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi was previously removed from his position by the former Governor Abdullahi Ganduje in 2020, due to a personal disagreement.
Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has declared the reinstatement of Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi as the Emir of Kano.
The declaration came subsequent to his signing of the new emirate council legislation at the Government House in Kano on Thursday.
The signing ceremony took place at precisely 5:10pm, in the presence of his deputy, the Speaker of the State Assembly, and other key government officials.
