Bandits kidnap College of Health Science students in Zamfara |
It was reported that the bandits targeted the locality intending to kidnap local residents but ultimately abducted the students.
Two female students from the College of Health Sciences and Technology, Tsafe, in Zamfara State, have been kidnapped by bandits.
The abduction occurred Thursday evening at their off-campus housing, located in the Matuna area on the town's periphery.
It was reported that the bandits targeted the locality intending to kidnap local residents but ultimately abducted the students.
The College's Provost, Hamisu Yelwa, confirmed the event, stating that the college administration is working closely with law enforcement to ascertain the full circumstances of the incident.
Yelwa also mentioned that security measures have been intensified in the vicinity of the college and the surrounding community.
