In the Northwest region, armed bandits have taken the lives of more than twenty individuals in Bilbis, a village within the Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State.
DAILY POST reports that over seven locals incurred various gunshot injuries and were taken to Tsafe General Hospital for treatment.

"After taking the lives of over 20 villagers, the bandits also kidnapped two individuals," he disclosed.
He added that although distress signals were sent to security forces, the bandits had fled prior to the arrival of military and other security personnel.
Residents have also shared that of those deceased, 14 were interred on Friday morning.
It is noted that the communities in the Tsafe Local Government Area of Zamfara State have been enduring relentless assaults by steadfast terrorists, who persist in their acts of violence against the populace.
