All Nine Victims of Iran Helicopter Crash Identified |
State media had earlier verified the fatalities of the helicopter's nine passengers, including President Ebrahim Raisi and Foreign Minister Hossein Amirabdollahian.
The Iranian government has confirmed the identification of all nine individuals who perished in Sunday's helicopter crash.
Despite severe burns, a high-ranking government official reported to the Iranian news agency, Tasnim, that the identities of the helicopter's occupants were determined by Monday.
The remains have been transported to Tabriz, the administrative center of Iran's East Azerbaijan province.

The helicopter was en route back from a meeting with Azerbaijan's President Ilham Aliyev when it crashed.
A senior imam from Tabriz, who conducted the city's Friday prayers, was also aboard the aircraft.
According to Tasnim, the imam survived for approximately an hour following the crash and managed to communicate with the presidential office before succumbing to his injuries.
