Speaking to journalists after visiting an examination center in Damaturu, the Head of Civil Service in the State, Alhaji Hamidu Alhaji, expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the 2024 civil service examination in the state.
In Yobe State, no fewer than 3,141 civil servants took part in the 2024 promotional examination that was conducted in the state.
Speaking to journalists after visiting an examination center in Damaturu, the Head of Civil Service in the State, Alhaji Hamidu Alhaji, expressed satisfaction with the conduct of the 2024 civil service examination in the state.
At the Government Girls Secondary School Damaturu, a total of 1,808 civil servants took the examination, while 887 others sat for the exam at the College of Administration Management and Technology, Potiskum.
Additionally, 446 civil servants participated in the examination at the Umar Sulaiman College of Education in Gashua.
The Head of Service conveyed to the state workers that Governor Mai Mala Buni is mindful of the civil servants' welfare needs, assuring them that numerous welfare packages are being planned, with many already implemented.
He further stated, “We aim for a higher-quality system, and these exams will help our civil servants become more productive and efficient, as well as keep them up-to-date with modern innovations in the state civil service.”
