Qatar Beats Jordan 3-1 in Penalty-Filled Asian Cup Final, Afif Breaks Records
Qatar’s star striker Akram Afif scored all three goals from the penalty spot as Qatar defeated Jordan 3-1 in the Asian Cup final on Saturday.
Qatar, who hosted the tournament for the first time, repeated their success from the previous edition, where they also lifted the trophy.

Afif made history by becoming the first player to net a hat-trick in the final of the competition, as well as the highest scorer of the tournament with eight goals.
Jordan put up a brave fight and scored a consolation goal in the second half, but could not stop Qatar from celebrating their second continental crown.
