A Brief History of Zainab Labarina
Zainab Labarina, better known as Nana Fiddausi, is a famous actress in the Hausa series movie Labarina. She revealed her brief history in an interview with BBC Hausa.
Zainab Labarina was born in Sokoto, but she has roots in Niger Republic. She lives with her parents in Sokoto state, where she completed her primary and secondary education.
She explained that her brother introduced her to directors Ali Nuhu and Aminu Saira. Her parents also supported her, which encouraged her to pursue a career in the Kannywood movie industry.
She revealed that Labarina series is her first film in Kannywood.
In the interview with BBC Hausa, Zainab Labarina stated that she had been interested in acting since she was a child, and that interest remained until she entered the Kannywood industry.
Zainab Labarina stated that the role she played in Labarina was very exciting, because it brought her fame and recognition among fans.
She said that the changes in her life and the economic pressure were the main things that made her cry.
She revealed that actors Sadiq Sani Sadiq, Maryam Yahaya, and Aliyu Tsamiya were among the stars of Kannywood who attracted her. She also shared that beans and rice were her favorite foods.
