Samanja Mazan Fama, Renowned Kannywood Actor, Dies at 84

Usman Baba Pategi, popularly known as Samanja Mazan Fama, passed away at the age of 84 on Sunday afternoon. He was a prominent actor in the Kannywood film industry and a resident of Kaduna.

His son, Mohammad Usman, confirmed the news of his death to the Daily Trust newspaper. He said that his father died at about 12:15 p.m. and left behind two wives and 12 children.

The cause of Samanja's death has not been disclosed yet. He was buried according to the Islamic rites at the Friday Mosque in Kabala neighborhood in Kaduna.
