Kannywood actress Aisha Humaira has revealed that she will pay anyone who owes money to Aminu S Bono. 

A popular actress in the Kannywood film industry in northern Nigeria, Aisha Humaira, has pledged to pay all the debts owed to the late Aminu S. Bono, an actor and director of the same industry.

Bono passed away on Monday after he came back from work and complained of feeling unwell. According to reports, his condition deteriorated quickly and he lost his life soon after.

“I appeal to anyone who knows that they have had a financial transaction with him or owe him money, or have received something that they have not paid for, to contact me. By the grace of God, as long as it is within my means, I promise to settle his debts and relieve him of his burden.” Aisha Humaira said.

According to Islamic law, all debts owed by a deceased person must be paid before burying him.

“If he needs to be paid even before his funeral, I will do my best to clear his dues as long as it is within my means.” Humaira added.

She said that if the amount is more than she can afford, she will seek other ways to help him pay off his debt.

The actress revealed this in a video lasting three minutes and 53 seconds, which she posted on social media on Monday, crying.

Humaira, who praised the good character of the deceased, also asked everyone who knew that Bono had wronged them or hurt them, knowingly or unknowingly, to forgive him.

Bono’s funeral was held on Tuesday in the city of Kano in the northwest of Nigeria. His death comes more than a year after the death of Nura Mustapha Waye, the director of the popular movie “Izzar So”, who also died in a similar manner to Bono.
