Director Aminu S. Bono’s Funeral Held in Kano state
The famous Kannywood director Aminu S. Bono was laid to rest on Tuesday morning in Kano state, in the north of Nigeria. The young director passed away on Monday after suffering from a stomach ailment.
Thousands of people attended Bono’s funeral, which was held in the Dandago area of Kano city. Among those who attended the funeral were prominent Kannywood actors such as Yakubu Muhammad, Abba Elmustapha, and director Aminu Saira.

Aminu S. Bono was buried at the Dandolo Cemetery in Goron Dutse, in Kano city. He was known for directing popular movies such as ‘Mai Dalilin Aure’, ‘Mai Farin Jini’, and ‘Zamani’. He was also a mentor and a friend to many young actors and filmmakers in the industry. He will be greatly missed by his fans and colleagues.
