Meet Farida Zakariya, the Nigerian Pharmacist Who Won a Prestigious Scholarship to Study at McGill University
Farida Zakariya is not only a brilliant pharmacist, but also a trailblazer. She is the first graduate of a Nigerian university to receive the McCall MacBain Scholarship, which covers tuition and living expenses for a master's or professional degree at McGill University in Canada.
Farida graduated in 2022 from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) in Zaria, Nigeria, where she excelled in her studies. She was the best student in her department, as well as in the entire Faculty of Pharmaceutical Sciences, which comprises six departments. She also won 12 awards for her academic achievements.
