Engr Hadi Usman is an inventor who has created amazing devices such as a radio station, a radio transmitter, a Vespa engine helicopter, and a telephone handset in the 1970s. He also recently invented a generator that does not use any form of fuel, a stove that uses water, and many other inventions.

Engr Hadi is set to make astonishing presentations today at the 10th, 11th, 12th and 13th combined convocation of the Gombe State University. He will unveil some of his recent breakthrough inventions, including a security apparatus.

What makes Engr Hadi’s achievements even more remarkable is that he never attended any formal education. He memorized the Holy Qur’an at the age of 12 and taught himself everything he knows about engineering.
