Kidnapped Pilgrim Officer Rescued After 38 Days - DG Pilgrims

Alh Sagir Umar Kofa, the Pilgrim Officer of Bebeji Local Government, who was abducted a few days ago, has regained his freedom.

According to Alh Sagir Kofa, he was rescued in Ikara Local Government in Kaduna State after spending 38 days in captivity.

He said the kidnappers had taken 20 million naira as ransom from the relatives of other victims they had kidnapped in Galadimawa village on the Zaria road.

He also thanked the Director General for his efforts and care during his abduction.

The Pilgrim Officer of Bebeji Local Government prayed for the safety and security of the people of Kano State from the menace of kidnappers.
