Famous political singer Dauda Kahuta Rarara, who is known for his songs in support of President Muhammadu Buhari, has changed his tune and accused the former leader of ruining the country before handing over to President Bola Tinubu.

In a video that went viral on social media, Rarara said that Buhari had to make trouble in Nigeria before he stepped down, and that he regretted backing him in the past elections. He also claimed that he was denied access to meet with Tinubu and expose the alleged corruption and mismanagement of the previous administration.

Rarara, who had earlier asked Nigerians to sponsor his next album with N1000 each, said he expected to release a song praising the achievements of Buhari, but instead he sang against the insecurity and economic woes that plagued the country under his watch.

The singer also said that he deserved to be rewarded with a ministerial appointment or at least have a say in the selection of political appointees, as he had contributed more to Tinubu's victory than anyone else in the north.
