On Saturday, September 2, 2023, Fatima Ado Ahmad Gidan Dabino, the daughter of the famous writer and hero Malam Ado Ahmad Gidan Dabino, MON, tied the knot with Bello Umar Kawaji.
The wedding ceremony took place at Al-Furkan Friday Mosque in Nassarawa GRA, Kano, around 11 am. According to the Film magazine representative, the event was graced by prominent figures such as royalty, authors, and politicians.
Among the attendees were Prof. Abdalla Uba Adamu, Prof. Yusuf Adamu, Dr. Tahir A. Ahmad Sarkin Dawaki Maituta, Kabiru Assada, Aminu Ladan Abubakar (Ala Waqa), Zaharaddin Ibrahim Kallah, Alhaji Ibrahim Muhammad Madawari of Mandawari, and Khadil Imam.
Before the wedding day, a gathering was organized for the bride Fatima to recite the Qur’an and pray. After the wedding on Saturday evening, a special prayer session was held at the residence of Ado Ahmad Gidan Dabino to ask God to bless the union of the groom and the bride and protect them from all the challenges of marriage.
