A tragic incident occurred in Nigeria last Sunday, August 27, 2023, when a 63-year-old man named Aminu Mahdi murdered his wife, Hadiza Zubuchi, for rejecting his sexual advances.
According to a news article from Within Nigeria, Mahdi came home around 9:00 pm on the fateful day and went to the bedroom he shared with his wife after having his dinner and changing his clothes.
However, his wife refused to let him sleep with her and started hitting him with a stick. Mahdi then grabbed the stick from her and beat her to death.
